Little Pentre Farm is located a couple of miles outside the delightful village of Overton on Dee. Whilst within Clwyd in Wales its land extends to the Shellbrook which marks the border with North Shropshire in England. The narrow lane that leads past Little Pentre Barn is very quiet and is mainly used by walkers and horses.

From the South.

From Birmingham take the M6 North passed the RAC building. At Junction 10a take the M54 for Shrewsbury/North Wales. At the end of the M54 take the A49 north towards Whitchurch for 1 mile. At the 2nd roundabout take the A5124 then the A528 north signposted to Ellesmere. On entering the pretty village of Ellesmere continue along the A528 for some 4 miles following the signs for Overton on Dee. One mile before the village of Overton on Dee you will see a turning on your left signposted Knolton/Pentre Coed. Take this turning and follow this minor road for 1 mile when you will approach a crossroads with the Rhwl Dairy Farm immediately on your left. Turn left here signposted Pentre Coed and also note the sign indicating no heavy traffic. Proceed along this lane for a further ½ mile and Little Pentre Farm and The Barn will be found through the white gates on your left.

From the North.

If you are coming south down the M6 at Junction 20a take the M56 to Chester/North Wales. At Junction 15 of the M56 take the M53 south signposted Chester/North Wales/Wrexham. The M53 turns into the A55 (south Chester ring road). Take the turn off signposted for Wrexham A483, passed Wrexham and now showing signs for Oswestry. Take the B5426 turnoff to Bangor on Dee. After some 3 miles you will come to crossroads at which you will turn right for Overton on Dee. After about half a mile you will pass the Cross Foxes pub (excellent food and atmosphere) and then drive over the River Dee and up the hill into Overton on Dee. After entering the village of Overton take the A528 to Ellesmere. After about half a mile there are a series of sharp bends and a turning to Oswestry/St Martins. Drive past this turning and after 50 yards take the right turn into an unmarked tarmac road. Follow this road for about a mile. At the small unmarked crossroads go straight on for a further few hundred yards and Little Pentre Farm and the Barn will be found through the white gates on your left.
